About MRHC
Tennis DNA runs year-round junior and adult tennis programs at McLean Racquet & Health Club (MRHC), a premier indoor facility in Northern Virginia. Players train on professional indoor courts all year — no weather delays — with a coaching team led by Tennis Director Juan Duran, supported by program directors Camila Puente and Angela Mendoza.
Whether your child is stepping onto a tennis court for the first time or training for competitive USTA events, our structured pathway gives every player a clear place to start and a clear way to progress.
Programs
Our programs at MRHC are organized into two tracks:
Recreational Program
For players focused on learning the game, building skills and enjoying tennis — from first-timers to confident rally players.
- Red Program — Ages 4–8. Introduction to tennis through age-appropriate drills, coordination and fun on mini-courts.
- Orange Program — Ages 6–9. Skill-building, rally control and footwork on larger courts.
- Green Program — Ages 9+. Rally consistency, point construction and match fundamentals on a full court.
- Adult Tennis — Group clinics, cardio tennis and private lessons for all levels.
High Performance Program
For committed players training for competitive match play, USTA tournaments, school teams or college pathways.
- White Program — Advanced USTA players. Strategy, match play and technical refinement.
- Black Program — Elite juniors. High-performance training focused on tournament results and collegiate preparation.
- Junior Tennis Team — Competitive team training, match play and tournament prep.
